Crewe First
#CreweFirst... working to reverse the decline of a once great town.
In June 2020 I set up 'Putting Crewe First' with the Electoral Commission. We did well in several by-elections and then our breakthrough year came in 2023.
In the town's elections for #CheshireEast and the Crewe Town Council we made a huge effort for a new party and put up a candidate in all THIRTY seats. Labour were the only other party to fight all the seats.
In the Town Council elections we took a huge 29% of the vote and established #CreweFirst as the main contender to Labour in Crewe for the 2027 elections.
We got the first EVER non-Labour Councillor elected to the Town Council and I came within 5 votes of getting elected. If there was a fair voting system, #CreweFirst would have had SIX Town Councillors elected.....not just one. @CreweFirst joined the #BelmontAccord because we strongly believe in working together with other parties.
All my life voters have been crying out for political parties to work together ......but instead they persist in pulling each apart ....and that is to the detriment of the country overall.
To get six political parties from across Great Britain to work together, yet retain their own identity, is a major achievement that I am sure the voters will approve of.
Crewe has been badly let down by both Labour and the Tories over decades.
It is time for 'All Change At Crewe'.
That is what #CreweFirst plan to deliver and our working agreement with five other political parties will assist us in achieving that goal.
Cllr. Brian Silvester
Leader.

English Democrats
The English Democrats
The English Democrats launched in 2002 and are the only campaigning English nationalist Party. We campaign for a referendum for Independence for England; for St George’s Day to be England’s National holiday; for Jerusalem to be England’s National Anthem; to leave properly and fully the EU; for an end to mass immigration; for the Cross of St George to be flown on allpublic buildings in England; and we supported a YES vote for Scottish Independence.
The English Democrats’ greatest electoral successes to date include:- in the 2004 EU election we had 130,056 votes; winning the Directly Elected Executive Mayoralty of Doncaster Metropolitan Borough Council in 2009 and also the 2012 mayoralty referendum; in the 2009 EU election we gained279,801 votes after a total EU campaign spend of less than £25,000; we won the 2012 referendum which gave Salford City an Elected Mayor; in 2012 we also saved all our deposits in the Police Commissioner elections and came second in South Yorkshire; and in the 2014 EU election we had 126,024 votes for a total campaign spend of about £40,000 (giving the English Democrats by far the most cost efficient electoral result of any serious Party in the UK!). In the 2015 General Election we had the 8th largest contingent of candidates in England. In the October 2016 Batley & Spen, Westminster parliamentary, By-election we came second and easily beat all three British national parties. In the 2017 Greater Manchester Mayoral election we came 5th beating UKIP and beat the Greens in all but 2 boroughs. In the 2018 South Yorkshire Mayoral election we had 14,547 votes and saved our deposit and with a minimal campaign budget achieving 12.8% of the First Preference votes in Doncaster. In the 2021 Police Commissioner election in Essex we got 42,831 (10%) First Preference votes, plus probably the same again Second Preference votes for by far the lowest campaign spending of all the candidates. In the May 2023 local elections we got a councillor elected in Lincolnshire. In the May 2024 Police Commissioner elections we were clearly the foremost party on law and order issues and we got 44,909 votes in Essex (13.6%); and 21,646 in West Midlands (10.1%) and 7,739 in Lincolnshire (7.2%) for the lowest campaignspending of all the parties which we were in competition with and another Councillor elected.
